The First Open Call: You Don’t Have to Stay Silent Any More

This is a call for all ordinary people — not just professional artists.

Have you ever heard someone scream in the middle of the night — a neighbor, a stranger on the street — completely losing control, unable to repress it any longer?

Have you ever seen someone racing on a bicycle down the street, mouth wide open like a black hole of fear and desperation, letting out a long, piercing cry?

Have you ever gone alone to a no-man’s land — a mountain, a seashore — to release a voice that had been suppressed deep inside you for so long?

Or maybe you already know: you carry too many voices within you that long to be expressed. You can feel them, buried in your conscious and subconscious, silently screaming. But you can’t speak. You’ve gone numb. Voiceless.

Or maybe you don’t even realize how many suppressed voices are inside you — how much has never had the chance to be spoken. You don’t know how this silence is consuming you, how it is tearing you apart.

No matter what your story is —
I invite you.

Follow your intuition. Trust it. Pick up a brush, or any other form of expression. Let art become your passageway — a channel through which all those unheard voices can finally be expressed.

When too many voices go unheard —
When a society neither encourages nor supports free expression and deep listening —
We begin to build walls inside our hearts.
We begin to fall for the illusion of isolation.
But isolation is an illusion. It is not the truth.

When each individual is given a space where their voice is unconditionally allowed and welcomed, the stagnant waters of both personal and collective consciousness are stirred. The living water of vitality and creativity begins to flow. The illusion of separation starts to collapse. People begin to hear and receive one another.

The walls start to fall.

And when true connection and transparent communication begin, humanity steps into a space of infinite possibilities: collaboration, transformation, creation.

Expression and deep listening —
these are the only true paths to transforming the violence and conflict buried within the human psyche.
Especially in an age like ours, where illusions of isolation are everywhere.
Electronic devices further disconnect us.
The cold glow of information supremacy and materialist values has pushed our collective sense of isolation to the extreme.

Art is the last redemption.

If humanity continues to place art upon a high and unreachable altar —
If art becomes the privilege of elites, the playground of intellect, or the monopoly of academia —
If it is reduced to a tool for chasing fame, pandering, or serving authoritarian ideologies —
If we keep misusing and misunderstanding art —
Then art, too, will become heartbroken.
Art will feel abandoned.
Art will grow lonely.
And eventually, art may wither, retreat, and even die.

But art longs to be a helper to every ordinary human being.
Art longs to serve every one of us.
When we approach art with sincerity, art responds with the same sincerity.

Let out the voice that has been silent for too long.
Let art be the passageway that gives you strength and courage —
To reconnect with yourself,
To reconnect with others,
To reconnect with the world.

It is not too late.
